With my birthday coming up on April 16 I thought it was only appropriate that I post my wish list. While this is mostly just a place to gather my own thoughts, hopefully it will also serve as a reference for people who want to buy me gifts now or later.

Magazine subscriptions to Real Simple and Martha Stewart Living - I probably buy enough of these magazines off the rack to pay for the yearly subscription so I figure it’s about time to take the plunge.

Magazine rack - We have a paper problem, we never seem to know with the “extras” that come in the mail that we maybe aren’t ready to recycle. So if I’m going to get a magazine subscription or two I think I should plan for a place to put them.

Crafting books: A is for Apron, Amy Butler’s In Stitches, Amigurumi World: Seriously Cute Crochet, Donna Kooler’s Encyclopedia of Sewing, Knitting and Crochet (3 separate books) - or other cute crafting books. Every time I go into a craft store I find a handful of books I’d love to buy. I literally want my own library of craft books.

Knit (or cashmere!) scarfs IN EVERY COLOR - I have two right now pink and coral and I wear them all the time so I don’t feel I need to do anything more to rationalize adding to my collection.

Anything Kate Spade - but specifically these two bags, and even more specifically the first one. But even though it’s one of Kate’s cheaper bags, at $295 I don’t actually expect this as a gift, rather I will probably wait for it to go on sale.
This list probably could go on and on but these are the things I’ve been thinking about lately.
I’m not very good about getting pictures off my camera in a timely manner, and really I’m not that good at taking pictures in the first place so even though I haven’t transfered photos since before Halloween there’s not that much to catch up on!
Dustin and I were invited to join a kickball league this fall. We started out pretty decent but ended up playing an unnecessarily competitive team and decided to just have as much fun as possible. Unfortunately, it took a toll on our playing skills. For example, here is a picture from Halloween everyone played in their costume as shown - including the TV and business man with briefcase and newspaper.

Here’s a picture of our last kickball game - it was Thanksgiving themed:

In November we also attended a birthday party for our good friend Scott. We had dinner and played games at Dave and Busters and then went back to the Johnson’s house for desserts and more video games for the boys.

Some of the girls at Scott’s birthday.

Scott was playing alone so Chelsea decided to play with him for a bit. Aren’t they cute?

Everyone pooled their tickets for Scott. We were hoping to be able to get one of the really nice prizes but we were still pretty far off. Instead we got him a bunch of these pirate pillows - Scott REALLY likes pirates.

Most of the gang who came out to celebrate Scott’s birthday. There are clearly a lot of people who love and care about him and I hope we helped him have a great birthday.
